How to request an extension

Each program has an allotted period of time to complete the certification requirements.

Advanced Health Coach: 12 weeks + 1 month grace period to complete outstanding assignments
HCI Health Coach: 6 months from enrollment
HCI Life Coach: 6 months from enrollment

If you are struggling with completing your certification requirements by the program deadline, please reach out to: support@healthcoachinstitute.com. Requests for extensions should be within the last 30 days of your deadline, or after the deadline. Extensions cannot be granted early.

Students may receive an extension of the following lengths, beginning from the original course deadline:

Advanced Health Coach: Up to 3 months
HCI Health Coach: Up to 6 months
HCI Life Coach: Up to 6 months

This means that if you are enrolled in the HCI Health Coach course and your deadline expired 4 months ago, you are eligible for a two month extension.
