Clear your cookies and cache

The cache in your internet browser stores certain information (snapshots) of the webpages you visit on your computer or mobile device. This allows the pages to load more quickly when you visit them again in the future. However, there are times when your cache can cause issues, such as preventing you from seeing updated content or causing problems when stored content conflicts with live content.

This article contains instructions with screenshots on how to clear the cache for the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox

Google Chrome

(Google's instructions)

1. Open Chrome

2. On your browser toolbar, select the Chrome Menu (three dots in the top right corner)

3. Click Clear Browsing Data

4. In the box that appears, select the check-boxes for Cookies and other site plug-in data and Cached images and files

5. Use the menu at the top to select the Time Range you'd like to delete

6. Click Delete Data

Mozilla Firefox

(Mozilla's instructions)

1. Click the Menu button (three lines in the top right corner)

2. Click History and select When: Everything

3. Select Cookies and site data and Temporary cached files and pages. Make sure other items you want to keep are not selected.

4. Select Clear

Note: If you are still experiencing technical issues after clearing your cookies and cache, we recommend logging out of the Learning Hub and logging back in utilizing a different browser. An example of this would be switching from Firefox to Chrome or vice versa.
